Weight loss through hypnosis therapy can be both highly successful and long lasting. The reason for this success is that hypnosis allows us to discover the emotional triggers for overeating, deal with these triggers, release them, and together learn how you can deal with them in a much healthier way. By addressing the underlying hindrances to weight loss, we are able to achieve lasting success without the risks and costs of invasive surgery or fad diets.
It is very important to understand that this is NOT a diet, as diets work only in the short-term and are centered around deprivation. With the Virtual Gastric Band, you will not be deprived of the foods you love and will still be able to eat and enjoy your favorite foods.
In our sessions together, we'll address ways in which your weight loss efforts have been sabotaged, and those triggers are determined and addressed while you’re in a hypnotic state. Clients are often surprised at the reasons they haven't been able to lose weight in the past. It is an empowering process. This is NOT a diet but is way new healthy way of living in which you learn how to eat so that you are satisfied and become full more quickly. High stress and anxiety levels has become an increasing concern, as many people are dealing with much more stress in their lives than ever before. At times, the amount of stress one endures can become unbearable. The good news is that hypnosis can provide substantial relief. My philosophy is to help you to help yourself by pinpointing the causes of your stress and guiding you through exercises that help you learn how to adapt to stressful situations, resolve existing anxieties, and create new ways of looking at the world. Drawing on the same "relaxation response" that drives meditation, I will help you learn to relax your body, allow stress hormones to subside, and distract your mind from unpleasant thoughts.
Have you ever noticed behavioral or emotional patterns in your life that continually repeat and hold you back or cause problems? Accessing these memories from a previous lifetime (via hypnosis) allows you to explore the origins of negative patterns that are disrupting your present life. It sometimes takes a few sessions spread out over time to uncover the patterns but then it becomes very clear of what changes you need to make in this life and why. This is a very intriguing process, and I’ve never had a client disappointed for having participated.
Quitting smoking is one of the easiest goals to accomplish with hypnosis. The question you must ask yourself is, “Do I want to quit for me?” When you are truly ready to quit smoking it can be done easily because your subconscious is in agreement with you. This is a very successful program.
Phobias are strong, irrational fears of things that pose little or no actual danger. While some phobias are mildly distressing and manage-
able, others are seriously debilitating and limit your quality of life. When you are truly tired of those limitations hypnosis works wonderfully. Hypnotherapy works by accessing the underlying cause of the phobia and eliminating the person’s conditioned response to the feared stimulus. When hypnosis is used to treat a phobia, the initial goal is to discover the initial event from which the phobia developed. The cause is often a traumatic event which occurred at an earlier time in your life...an event which your conscious mind may not even remember. Life is short, so lets get rid of those limitations and irrational fears and live a life of freedom.
Hypnosis can improve your athletic performance by using guided imagery. We sometimes have a mental block because of a bad game or experience, which can negatively impact future performances. Let me help you get beyond that and bring you back to an even better place.
